Types of Custom metal powder

Diatrix

A new line of high-performance metal powders for diamond tools, developed to replace cobalt and its pre-alloys in cutting and polishing applications for materials such as marble, granite, ceramics and the machining or demolition of reinforced concrete.

Phosphorus steel, bronze and iron-copper powders, diluted with other powders, form versatile and resistant metal matrices. Thanks to metal bond additives, tool characteristics can be customised, optimising performance, tool life and cutting speed.

BRAKEALLOY

The new range of environmentally friendly, copper-free metal powders designed to optimise the performance of both organic and sintered brake pads. These powders have distinct thermo-mechanical properties that result in different behaviour during braking to ensure optimal performance and comfort. The product families include:

  • Brakealloy S: atomised Iron-Tin alloy powder
  • Brakealloy SB: atomised Iron-Tin/Bismuth alloy powder
  • Brakealloy Z: atomised Iron-Zinc alloy powder
  • Brakealloy X for electric vehicles: atomised Iron/Chromium-Tin/Bismuth alloy powder
