Pometon presents at EURO PM 2009 in Copenhagen the new family of products ECOSINT.

ECOSINT is an innovative High Performance steel powder developed in our technical center in cooperation with CEIT (San Sebastian, ES). The purpose of these powders is to maximise performances in the sintering of mechanical pieces produced on conventional furnaces and to permit production of high dimension sinter hardened pieces well beyond possibility given by current high alloyed diffusion bonded powders.

We are convinced that ECOSINT powders open new windows of application while permitting a reduction of processing cost  thanks to a broader usage of common furnaces even for sinter hardening cycles.

To develop ECOSINT a strong attention was put to minimise content of metals considered unsafe to H&S and Environment and, at same time, to use metals less sensitive to market fluctuations.

ECOSINT is a powders  family of different  compositions aiming to cover an increased need of performances.
